Enabling JavaScript in your Web Browser

Licensesudovanilla.org

JavaScript is the standard programming language used for modern web browsers, with about roughy 95% to 98% of all websites utilizing it as of 2026. While HTML provides the webpage structure and CSS handles the style and looks, JavaScript is the “behavior” layer that help make websites interactive and functional.

This programming language helps with enabling complex features such as real-time communication and content updates, interactive maps and canvases, advanced animations, and data-driven websites that respond instantanesouly with user input without needing to reload the page.

For those curious and interested in the technical implementation, there are comprehensive documentation that are available on the MDN Web Docs, which today remains as the primary source for masting current language standards for our modern web.
